Sofia Alexa Romero is the sixteen-year-old daughter of Vanessa and Saul Romero, and the stepdaughter of Regan Parsons, younger sister to Nicole, Junior, and Markus Romero, and older sister to Hartley and Kinsley Parsons. Throughout Sofia’s years at Arlington High, she has been a part of the Cheerleading squad and is now a member of both the varsity and competition teams. Outside of school, she volunteers with her mom to help with the nonprofit organization, HREBA. This organization educates the Arlington community about homeownership. One of Sofia’s favorite things to do during Christmas time is volunteer at Mission Arlington’s Christmas store.

Sofia actively participates in her church, Rush Creek. Sofia has been involved in Wyld Life and Young Life. She has gone to summer camp trips, including Lonehollow and Windy Gap in North Carolina. Sofia enjoys going to camp and disconnecting from the real world, while deepening her relationship with Christ and the ones around her who share the love of the Lord. While at various summer camps, Sofia learned that she absolutely loves to be outdoors and can get lost quickly in a good book. Sofia also enjoys being around friends and family, traveling, and attending a good concert. She enjoys her time working as a waitress at Prespa’s Italian Restaurant.

After graduation, Sofia plans to attend Baylor University to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Diagnostic Medical Sonography to later become an ultrasound tech. She also has exciting plans to study abroad.
