Sophie Pham is the seventeen-year-old daughter of Van Tran and My Pham, and oldest of four siblings: Alex, Henry, and Victoria Pham. Her escort for the evening is Martin Junior, Zachary Clark, son of Michael and Jennifer Clark.

Sophie is a junior at James Martin High School, where she is heavily involved in leadership societies. She plays junior varsity tennis at Martin, and is an officer in the student body council, involved in National Honor Society, Key Club, Viet Student Association, and is also taking AP Spanish 4 to become trilingual. Sophie is a hardworking student and holds a 4.2 GPA. She is actively involved in fundraising organizations and has over 100 hours of personal volunteer work.

Sophie has earned many awards in art and learned many leadership skills. She is a proud, confirmed Catholic at St Vincent de Paul, and is actively involved in a Vietnamese church youth leadership. God is a big part of her life and makes her become the best version of herself. Sophie loves going out to volunteer and helping little kids in need. Any chance she gets, she finds a new way to give back to her community. Every birthday, Sophie saves money so she can donate it to kids at the orphanage every trip back to her hometown. She loves fashion and design and is devoted to sewing her own dresses and styling anyone who requests it. These little things make her happy because they put a smile on others’ faces.

After graduation, Sophie plans to attend college at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) New York, any college in her home city, or an international university overseas. She wants to get a master’s degree and work in real estate to help others find homes. Sophie is grateful to be a candidate and wants to set the best example for her younger siblings! Her younger sister is her world, and she is so blessed to have such amazing parents and friends to support her with her Cinderella campaign.
