About Chris Hightower
Chris Hightower is the President & CEO of the Arlington Museum of Art (AMA), an Arlington native who grew up visiting museums with his grandmother, sparking his lifelong passion for art, and has led the AMA in bringing major exhibitions like Picasso and Rembrandt to the city, quadrupling its budget and moving it to a new, larger location near the Entertainment District. Under his leadership, the Arlington Museum of Art has not only become a presence in the North Texas Cultural Arts community but has also received notable acclaim in New York City and across Europe for its world-class exhibits.
Chris also owns a successful real estate brokerage and holds a certification and designation in short sales, foreclosures and real estate owned properties.
Outside of work and community involvement, Chris loves sports and traveling and spends his free time reading books and watching films about art and artists. His favorite artists include Michelangelo, Cézanne, and Picasso.
