Jocelyn Ann Mayo is the sixteen-year-old daughter of Stephanie and Aaron Mayo, and older sister to Nate. Jocelyn is the granddaughter of Laurel and Don Mayo and JoAnn and the late Roger Keener.

Jocelyn is a sophomore at Nolan Catholic High School. Her escort is Arlington High School sophomore, Benjamin Chapa, son of Justin and Anna Chapa. Jocelyn has spent her high school career at Nolan Catholic, where she is the president of the crochet club, social officer of the French club and an engaged member of the history club and Health Society. Maintaining a 100.6 GPA, Jocelyn is an Advanced-Placement classes and is straight A student.

Jocelyn was previously an All-Star cheerleader for eight years and now participates in Arlington Tennis Center tennis classes and Arlington ATA martial arts classes, where she practices taekwondo. Jocelyn is a member of St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church and loves volunteering every summer at vacation Bible school and at Mission Arlington during the holidays.

Last summer, Jocelyn attended a neuroscience and psychology summer camp at Duke University with the National Student Leadership Conference, as well as a photography camp here at UTA. This summer, she will attend an Anatomy Academy hosted at the University of Texas at Austin as a continuation of her passion for science and medicine. In her free time, Jocelyn enjoys reading, crocheting, playing piano and guitar, taking and editing photos, and creating all kinds of crafts, as well as babysitting and spending time with friends, family, and her cat, Casper. One thing she loves to do is crochet baby blankets and hats to donate to local hospitals.

During her campaign, Jocelyn is enjoying volunteering at Boys & Girls Clubs, assisting kids with homework and volunteering where needed. After graduation, Jocelyn plans to attend university to pursue a PhD or MD in neuroscience to become a neuroscience researcher.
