Isha Vinitkumar Patel is the sixteen-year-old daughter of Shraddha and Vinit Patel, older sister to Ved Patel. She is the granddaughter of Jyoti and Mukesh and Hemu and Prafful Patel.

Isha is a sophomore at Lamar High School. Her escort is Lamar sophomore, Logan Woodman, son of Tom and Heather Woodman. Isha has spent her high school career at Lamar High School where she has been involved in the Marching Band, Wind Ensemble, Full Orchestra and HOSA. She performs on the mellophone during marching season and the French horn during concert season. Isha has been playing the French horn for five years and the mellophone for two. She was awarded the opportunity to serve as the Band Assistant Librarian, an important leadership position within the band. Throughout her involvement in HOSA, Isha has developed a strong interest in healthcare. These experiences have inspired her to pursue a future in the medical field. Isha is proud to be in the top 10% of her class while being in Pre-AP and AP classes.

Outside of school, Isha is an active member of the Mayor’s Youth Commission, where she works with other students to represent the youth voices in the community. She deeply values leadership, service, and making a positive impact. Isha looks forward to continuing to grow and learn in the years ahead. In her free time, Isha enjoys spending time with her family and friends, babysitting, traveling, baking new recipes and volunteering where needed.

After graduation, Isha plans on attending college to pursue a degree in biomedical sciences to become an anesthesiologist.
