Madelyn Rose Stewart is the seventeen-year-old daughter of Karen and Byron Stewart. Madelyn is the granddaughter of the late Elsie and Samuel Stewart and Rosella and George Abernathy.

Madelyn is a junior at Martin High School. Her escort is Martin junior, Miles Lewis, son of Todd and Kristin Lewis. Throughout her high school career, Madelyn has been involved in various clubs while also being very devoted to her education. Madelyn is a STEM Academy student, varsity cheerleader, and competes on both UIL and NCA competition teams. Madelyn has been cheering for nine years and she has been recognized and awarded as an All-American cheerleader twice. Madelyn is involved in the National Honor Society, Psi Alpha, HOSA, Key Club, and founded her own club, “Women In STEM”, where he shows her leadership skills as vice president. Madelyn is very proud to have maintained a 4.4 GPA throughout high school and has been awarded the AP Scholar Award for passing all of her Advanced-Placement exams.

Outside of school, Madelyn loves to give back to her community and connect with the people around her. She coaches the Arlington Optimist Club 11U Cowboys and secured them the Grand Champion title this year. During the summer, she works alongside her best friends at Camp Thurman, where she loves to teach kids about the Gospel and create special bonds with every kid she meets. Madelyn is actively involved in her faith and regularly attends Rush Creek with her family. When Madelyn is not cheering or doing homework, you can find her reading fantasy books, laughing with her friends, or spending time with her family.

After graduation, Madelyn plans to attend either the University of Texas at Austin or Johns Hopkins University to major in neuroscience with a minor in psychology. She hopes to attend medical school, earn her PhD, and become a neurologist.
