Hala Abdallah is the sixteen-year-old daughter of Rima Abdelrahim and Ibrahim Abdallah. She is the younger sister of Haia, Jana, and Sanad, and proudly the older sister of Abdallah. Hala is a junior at Martin High School in Arlington, Texas. Her escort is Martin High School senior Atif Mirza, son of Amir and Shelby Mirza.

Hala is actively involved in several leadership and service organizations. She participates in Student Council, the Mayor’s Youth Commission, the Red Cross Club, Youth and Government, and Key Club. She also serves as Vice President of the Martin Muslim Student Association and Vice President of the Martin Film Club. Through these roles, Hala enjoys building community, encouraging inclusivity, and exploring creative expression alongside leadership service. She values opportunities that allow her to bring people together and create welcoming spaces for all students. Through Martin’s Student Council, Hala has helped plan and support school events and enjoys working behind the scenes to ensure the gatherings run smoothly.

This year, she competed at the district level for Youth and Government, where she debated a bill focused on helping financially struggling parents receive SNAP benefits more efficiently. Her performance earned her a strong score of 21 out of 25 and allowed her to combine her interest in public speaking and advocating social issues. Outside of school, Hala enjoys tutoring students with the Light and Salt Academy and babysitting for local families. These experiences that have strengthened her sense of responsibility, patience, and leadership. She loves trying new hobbies such as learning pickleball, golf, and crocheting.

After graduation, Hala hopes to attend the University of Texas at Austin, where she plans to major in psychology and minor in law, justice, and society. She is excited to pursue a future career in law and make a positive impact on her community.
