Madilyn Rose Swanson is the sixteen-year-old daughter of Emily Miller and Josh Swanson, Stepdaughter to David Miller, older sister to Camille, and granddaughter to Linda and Val Gibson.

Madilyn is a sophomore at Pantego Christian Academy. She is involved in Cheerleading at PCA as a member of the varsity and competition squads. She’s played volleyball at her school for five years and received the Hannah Joy award for her ability to lift the team when spirits are low.

She has received the Scholar Athlete recognition for her hard work in classes and sports. Madilyn excels in the classroom taking all AP and Honors classes while earning distinction as an ACT Rising Scholar. She has gained leadership skills through the National Honor Society and Athletic Leadership Council. She loves to volunteer on yearly mission trips, PCA Gives Back, and The Miracle League in Arlington with her family and friends. Madilyn especially enjoyed her class ninth grade mission trip to Tulsa, Oklahoma, where she was able to give back to the community by working with children at a school and serving at the local food bank.

She attends Lake Church and is actively involved in their weekly youth groups and various service projects across Arlington. Madilyn loves to work at Camp Thurman, volunteer, bake, read, and spend time with family and friends. Madilyn’s passion for volunteering started when she volunteered over the summer with Lindsay’s Art Cart for three straight summers and was thrilled when that passion helped her earn a job at Camp Thurman, where she served as a counselor in training.

After graduation, she plans to attend Baylor University to pursue a degree in nursing or psychology. Her escort is Pantego Christian Academy sophomore, Maddox Ritter, son of Matt and Allison Ritter.
